Alcatraz
Alcatraz Island is a historical site supervised by the national park services as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. To reach the Alcatraz Island, you can catch the ferry to the island at the pier near Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. The pier is just a short walk from our hotel. The Hilton Fisherman’s Wharf is ideally located for easy access to many of the points of interest and entertainment in beautiful San Francisco.
Tours of Alcatraz Island vary from a two and a half hour tour to a five hour tour. The Alcatraz Island tours are available from May 5th through September 30th. When you stay with us at the Hilton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel, we can help you schedule your sightseeing and make arrangements for services such as the Alcatraz Island tour.
